The building where CaixaForum exhibition center is located (it belongs to the Obra Social de La Caixa) opened in 1913 and in 1976 it was awarded the title of Historic-Artistic Monument. It is a modernist work of the architect Puig i Cadafalch, and was built as a textile factory for the company Casaramona. The building has been refurbished and adapted to his current role, on the front has been expanded with modern structures, in this view we see the entry courtyard of the building, which is located a few meters below the level of the street.
